So I have been meaning to write about our second part of our trip, which was to the Kalahari. Once we got home from the trip I got so busy with putting things away, cleaning, and other things I just forgot.
We had a blast at the Kalahari. We were originally there for a conference called That Conference. It was about technology and web development. So in other words, it was Jon’s conference and we just tagged along. But Jack and I still had fun. Jack and I went to the water parks, and found a playground to occupy our time during the three days. We also received free passes to a Wildlife Safari. That may have been my favorite. Although the zoo reminded me of Como here in Minneapolis, there were a lot more animals to pet. Lots of petting zoo type animals and areas. Jack and I even got to feed a giraffe. It was awesome. Highlight for me.
Other than the safari, we all three had a really fun time at the water park and the playground. Jon learned a lot of new things and met lots of new people. Overall it was a great vacation.

A Day Out With Thomas
Jon and I took Jackson for his birthday to “A Day Out With Thomas The Train” in Duluth, Mn. He had a blast. We got to see a bunch of old engines, play on train tables, and ride Thomas. We had so much fun. Took tons of pictures of not just trains and Jackson playing with trains, we also went for a walk around Canal Park where we threw rocks into Lake Superior, saw some big ships, and walked into some fun shops. Best part so far about our trip, besides Thomas, has been hanging out at our friends cabin they let us use for the weekend. It has been so nice not having to pay for a hotel room and making our own dinner instead of going out for every meal.
Next we leave for the Wisconsin Dells. We will be there for 3 days. Jon is going to a conference that is being held at The Dells called “That Conference”. Jackson and I are going to be hanging out at The Dells while Jon is at the conference. I am so excited because I have never been there, only have done the brief stop for gas. The best part about it is that we will not have to worry about breakfast, lunch, or dinner while we are there due to the fact that the conference is paying for all of our meals, and we also get passes to all the fun things that are around the Dells like the Zoo. I am so looking forward to a fun Jackson week.
