I know I have not blogged in a while. I have been busy with work, play, and other interesting things.
Jackson is doing well. He has been really enjoying the snow that we have been getting. At least once a week we go outside and play in the snow, shovel the snow, and lay in the snow. He is really starting to enjoy winter. Jackson also likes playing with flash cards. He knows his ABC’s, some shapes, and numbers are coming along. Reading Dr. Seuss is something that he has always enjoyed, but now its all about Thomas the Tank Engine, Little Critter, and Max and Ruby. I have also been enjoying our DAILY quiet time of watching The Lorax. It is amazing how he can watch it over and over again. Too bad our DVD player only lets him watch each movie per day.
Jon has been so busy with helping plan a PHP Convention here in the cities these past few months. It went very well. With this being the first year of the convention, we had a successful attendance of 98% with speakers coming from as far as the Netherlands. It has been a wonderful experience for him and a really great way to network. Its going to be a blast to start planning for next year.
